Tell us about concrete and other materials

A pile of boards is different from fence posts still attached to concrete. Include heavy bases, rubble, soil and metal components in the description rather than hiding them beneath timber. Point out protruding nails or sharp fixings so handling can be planned. Do not cut or break unstable materials simply to make them fit a bag.

Prepare an accessible collection area

Keep the agreed waste on your own property and away from shared routes until collection is confirmed. If it is at the end of a back garden, photograph the path, gate and any steps. Explain access through the house where there is no side passage. Green cuttings from the same project can also be discussed, but should be kept separate and included in the original quote request.
